You know, I can make pretty good bubble teas. I found mango, strawberry, and taro powder in China Town. I also have the black tapioca balls and the abnormally large straws to drink them with.
Here’s the (perfected) recipe:
5 Tbsp. powder flavor
2 Tbsp. green tea powder
1/4 cup sugar syrup
3/4 cup warm water
1/2 cup milk
2 fl. oz. of cooked tapioca pearls
Makes 32 oz.
1. put all ingredients except tapioca pearls into blender and liquify
2. add ice to the mixture, blending until it is very thick
3. add bubble tea tapioca to glass and pour the drink over
4. put in your big fat straw
If anyone wants a Sara-made bubble tea, just ask. Seriously. I’ll make you a bubble tea.
