Sunlight is fantastic. At the end of the school day, I walked out of the doors and, bam — instant better mood. You’d think the winter season isn’t that bad when living in Washington, because you hardly ever get snow and because everything stays green. I don’t think that’s true, though.

Sure it rains a lot, and that may make some people angry or sad, but it’s not the rain that bothers me in the winter. It’s the darkness. When it gets dark really early in the evening and light really late in the morning, I get low. The days seem endless (or should I say nights?), and I start feeling hopeless.

So, now I’m really excited for spring. More sunny days!  Yay!
